The registration and stamps department is set to launch e-Aadhaar-based property registration soon, aimed at enhancing service efficiency, as announced by revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday.
This initiative will commence as a pilot project in the sub-registrar offices (SROs) of Armoor and Kusumanchi. The minister stated that the government has already implemented various reforms, including a slot booking system for registrations, which has garnered a positive response. “In just the past two to three months, over three lakh slots have been booked across the sub-registrar offices in the state,” he remarked.
Additionally, the government has resolved to establish integrated sub-registrar offices throughout Telangana. A complex will be constructed in Gachibowli, where chief minister A Revanth Reddy is expected to lay the foundation stone soon.
As part of this initiative, approximately 39 SROs located in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal, and Sangareddy districts will be consolidated into 11 integrated registration offices in the forthcoming years. The SROs in Gandipet, Serilingampally, and Rajendranagar will be relocated to the new Gachibowli complex, according to the minister.
