The Yamuna Expressway Authority will hire a consultant for the development and implementation of its ambitious building plan management system.
Officials said the system will automate the end-to-end process for building plan approvals—from empanelment of architects and online submission of documents and fees to issuance of occupation certificate.
As per a request for proposal (RFP), the YEIDA area is spread around the Yamuna Expressway, and the six-lane access-controlled corridor has opened up a vast area on the eastern bank of the Yamuna river for urban and industrial development. “With the development of Noida International Airport in Jewar, the region is inclined to witness various opportunities and advancements,” the document states.
“In this regard, there will be a lot of real estate development which would require a huge number of approvals to be taken from the Authority. The Authority intends to digitise and automate the building approval processes for effective services to the users.”
An official said, “The consultant will design, develop, customise, implement and maintain an online automated building plan management system. It will take all relevant factors of the project into account, including technical, legal and IT. The system will cater to all departments of the Authority.”
The key services required to be provided by the consultant include automated citizen services related to building plans — scrutiny, plan approval, sanction and issuance of the completion certificate.
