Accessing elevated and difficult-to-reach areas is a regular requirement across high-rise buildings, industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. Façades, chimneys, silos, tanks, bridges and other vertical structures often require maintenance, inspection, cleaning, repair or installation work at considerable heights. In such applications, suspended rope platforms can provide a practical alternative to conventional access arrangements.
With nearly two decades of experience, CMAC India Pvt Ltd manufactures suspended rope platforms designed for lifting personnel and materials during work at height. The company provides platform configurations for different load requirements and project conditions, with features focused on controlled movement, ease of installation and operator safety.
Suspended Rope Platforms for Different Load Requirements
CMAC’s suspended platform range includes models developed for different applications and lifting capacities. The selection of a platform can depend on factors such as the working height, load requirement, available space and nature of the work.
The CMAC 250 has a rated capacity of 250 kg and can operate at heights of up to 100 metres. It can be used for relatively light-duty applications such as façade cleaning, inspection and minor maintenance work.
The CMAC 800 provides an 800 kg rated capacity and operates at speeds of approximately 8–10 metres per minute. Its higher load capacity makes it suitable for activities such as façade cladding, painting, insulation and other external building works.
For applications requiring greater load capacity, the CMAC 1000 is designed to handle up to one tonne. With operating speeds of up to 11 metres per minute, it can be used for high-rise construction, chimney maintenance and infrastructure-related access requirements.

The platforms are equipped with LTD series hoists and LSB/LSF safety locks. Platform lengths can also be configured according to project requirements, allowing the equipment to be adapted to different work areas.
