Since Thursday morning, the Income Tax Department has been conducting operations at several locations, including the Apna Ghar Shalimar Society of Trehan Home Developers in Alwar district. Presently, the Income Tax team is executing a comprehensive search operation on-site. Nationwide, over 150 personnel from 23 teams have implemented income tax raids at 19 locations of the Trehan Group.
According to sources, Rs 1 crore has been confiscated in Alwar and Rs 51 lakh in Gurugram. However, the department has yet to issue any official communication to the media.
Income tax sources indicate persistent allegations of tax evasion against the Trehan Group.All offices and directors’ residences is in progress, encompassing laptops, bank accounts, and other company-related documentation.
Documents pertaining to the search are being examined at the residences of Ashok Saini, builder Kuldeep Kalra, and CA Sumit in Alwar.
