IDA launches lease management & file tracking system

“Both the systems will facilitate the property holders and will also bring more transparency in IDA’s working” the chairman claimed.

Indore Development Authority (IDA), in its bid to facilitate its customers and bring more transparency in the working, on Friday launched lease management and file tracking system.

IDA’s chairman Jaypal Singh Chawda, in presence of the urban development housing department principal secretary Neeraj Mandloi, collector Ilayaraja T and CEO RP Ahirwar, launched both the systems to help its around 40,000 property holders to apply and pay the fee online for lease renewal while using the file tracking system, they can also keep a track of their application under-process at different stages.

“Both the systems will facilitate the property holders and will also bring more transparency in IDA’s working” the chairman claimed.

According to Mandloi, other development authorities should take inspiration from IDA in the field of e-governance.

“With launch of both the systems, IDA has now been able to claim e-governance awards of the state,” he said, adding that in less than one year, IDA has disposed off more than 17,000 pending cases.

During the day, Mandloi also held a meeting with AICTSL officials including Harshika Singh and the CEO Manoj Pathak and learnt about its public transport system along with giving some inputs including that offering transportation packages for the religious and tourist spots.

“We have urged the PS to consider two proposals we sent to the state government for its permission for AICTSL to obtain 200 new buses and 50 e-bikes” Pathak said
