The ministry of road transport and highways has planned to build a new national highway from Nasirabad to Deoli.
For this, minister Nitin Gadkari gave directions to officials to speed up the process of building the new highway. At present, a stretch of 70 kilometre is a state highway and has two lanes and there are regular cases of accidents on this road. Kekeri MLA Raghu Sharma said that he demanded a highway from NH 48 at Nasirabad to NH 52 at Deoli. At present, this stretch is a two-lane state highway passing from Nasirabad, Sarwar, Kekeri, Sawar to Deoli and is not appropriate for heavy transport.
The Nasirabad to Deoli road connects Ajmer, Jodhpur and nearby regions to Kota and Tonk. Currently, there is no railway transportation in Sawar, Kekeri and Sawar towns.
