Soon, you can get ‘no dues’ certificates for properties online-GNIDA

The software, developed by Tech Mahindra, is akin to a net-banking facility and would allow allottees to obtain no-due certificate online on submission of necessary documents with just a couple of mouse clicks, they said.

Soon residents and industries in Greater Noida may be able to obtain no dues certificates for their properties online with the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) set to roll out a trial run of a self-service scheme with 400 industrial allotments in Ecotech sectors 10 and 11 on September 10.

If successful, the scheme will be first extended to industrial allotments and later to residential, commercial and institutional segments under the ‘end-user category’, GNIDA officials said.

The software, developed by Tech Mahindra, is akin to a net-banking facility and would allow allottees to obtain no-due certificate online on submission of necessary documents with just a couple of mouse clicks, they said. The system is also expected to ensure greater autonomy and reduce the processing time — the manual process currently takes nearly two days.

The scheme, however, will not be offered to developers (or builders) to avoid defaulters, officials said. “We have already initiated e-filing of documents and applications in the Authority. Manual file generation has also stopped under the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Now, the Authority is taking another step towards self-service mode for the allottees. It is going to start with the entrepreneurs of Ecotech 10 first and later Ecotech 11,” Narendra Bhooshan CEO GNIDA told.
