BRIEF ABOUT ICI-INDIAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE
Indian Concrete Institute Bengaluru Centre is a non-profit organisation formed by group of practicising Civil Engineers and related professionals including those interested in the area of Concrete and related fields. Founded in 1982, ICI has a professional membership of over 14,000 members across India and about 350 Corporate and Institutional members. The Bengaluru Centre of the Indian Concrete Institute is amongst the oldest centres and has been consistently rated as the Best Centre over many years in a row. In addition to a large number of professional members from Industry, Academia, Corporates and general citizenry, it has over 55 student’s chapters in various Engineering colleges spread across Karnataka, India. ICI conducts regular Seminars, Workshops, Technical-brainstorming sessions, Project visits, Policydecision discussions, disemination of knowledge etc., through various events, both online and offline. The members of ICI visit various Engineering Colleges on a regular basis as part of Industry-Academic connect inivitative and to impart application oriented and latest technology related knowledge to (Civil) Engineering Students and Faculty.
