  3. Binder Addition (Bitumen Emulsion)
    Bitumen emulsion is added to aggregates at ambient temperature. This acts as the binding agent.
  4. Mixing Process
    All materials are mixed thoroughly in a pugmill or continuous mixer to ensure uniform coating.
  5. Storage or Direct Dispatch
    The finished cold mix is either stored temporarily or directly transported to the construction site.
  6. Laying and Compaction
    At the site, the mix is laid manually or using small equipment and compacted using rollers.
