JMC-Greater will develop a mobile application for timely collection of urban development tax, said officials on Tuesday. Mobile app development services will help the residents to pay tax easily.

development services to develop the application so that residents can pay the tax easily which will also increase revenue for the corporation.
The mayor also instructed officials to conduct surveys to find out properties pending to pay their UD tax and start acting against them.
“There should be 100% compliance of the targets fixed for revenue collection for a particular year. The company responsible for collection of urban development and advertisement tax must speed up the collection process. An online application should be developed for revenue collection and digitalisation should be done for depositing UD tax online so that the common man does not have to go round the corporation to deposit the fee,” said Gurjar.
