Real estate player Signature Global’s recently participated in Haryana Real Estate Summit 2022. The event, held on November 29 in Gurugram, was organised by the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), a premier real estate association funded by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, in association with HARERA (Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority) Gurugram.
Haryana Real Estate Summit 2022 was organised to analyse Haryana’s projects and programs and assess the impact of various real estate and infrastructure policies. In light of evolving regulatory trends, the event brought together real estate policymakers, industry experts, and thought leaders to find solutions to existing issues such as the ban on construction activities due to alarming air pollution levels. During the event, real estate developers were urged to adopt surefire solutions based on research and data to mitigate the problem of pollution.
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global (India), who was one of the Guest Speakers at the event, said, “Construction sites that adhere to effective pollution control measures must be permitted to continue with construction activities. Putting a halt to construction activities every year because of severe pollution levels incurs high costs. Furthermore, real estate developers have to adhere to a time cycle. Considering the time cycle, even if a ban is imposed for a month, the cycle gets disrupted for almost 3 months, thus impacting a project’s delivery date and disappointing the consumers. This calls for the adoption of high-tech pollution control solutions at construction sites that can measure pollution levels in real-time.”
Mr. Aggarwal also urged NAREDCO to devise an effective solution so that construction sites adopting pollution control measures could continue to operate. He added, “The successful implementation of this measure will be a great achievement for both NAREDCO and the state of Haryana. Simultaneously, it will ease the burden on developers.”
