Brigade Group has entered into a lease agreement for a seven-acre prime location in Chennai’s Tharamani–Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) corridor to establish a substantial mixed-use development.
As per a regulatory filing, the project will include more than one million square feet of Grade A office space, in addition to a 225-key five-star deluxe hotel. Positioned strategically within Chennai’s IT and innovation hub, this development will enjoy close proximity to global technology companies, prominent educational institutions, healthcare services, retail centers, and residential neighborhoods.
Pradyumna Krishna Kumar, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises, remarked that this initiative is in line with the company’s long-term growth strategy and embodies its vision of developing high-value, future-ready assets that contribute positively to Chennai’s urban and commercial landscape.
This initiative follows Brigade’s announcement in June regarding its Rs 2,100 crore residential project, Brigade Morgan Heights, located in South Chennai’s Sholinganallur–Medavakkam corridor, which spans 14.7 acres and offers 2.2 million square feet of premium apartments.
