VMRDA puts few more vacant lands on auction

The authorities are expecting more than Rs 300 crores to Rs 400 crores which can be deposited into the state government’s exchequer.

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has put a few more vacant lands on auction. The auction would take place on September 15 for around 12 acres located in various areas in the city.

The lands are situated at Madhurawada, Kapuluppada, Parawada, and other places. VMRDA has announced an auction of its lands at three locations in the Madhurawada area, and two at Thummapala in the Anakapalli district through an advertisement.

It is recalled that the VMRDA announced an auction of its lands in Kapuluppada, Chittivalasa, and Madhurawada and E Bonangi of Parawada mandals a week ago. All these lands are in areas that are developing at a fast pace.

The public can apply till September 15 through the state government website konugolu.ap.gov.in. According to sources, each square yard is between 40,000 to Rs. 80,000 at the announced lands.
