After a gap of three months, the city corporation started collecting property tax for the current financial year from Thursday.
Corporation commissioner M Prathap urged residents to pay the revised property tax either at tax collection centres or online.
The collection centres will function till 4pm on all working days. The property tax collection for the financial year 2022-23 should have been started from April 1.
But the corporation delayed it as revenue officials were busy revising property taxes.
