Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene, have sold their apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu locality for ₹4.40 crore, nearly 14 years after purchasing it for ₹1.94 crore. The transaction reflects a capital appreciation of around 127%, highlighting the sustained growth in Mumbai’s premium residential real estate market.
According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the apartment is located in Iris Park, part of The Deep Varsha Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, on Military Road in the Juhu Vile Parle Development (JVPD) Scheme. The property was purchased by Sachin Shekar Shetty, while the sale deed was registered on July 3, 2026.
The apartment has a carpet area of 774 sq ft. Documents reveal that the stilt parking space originally attached to the apartment had already been sold separately to another homebuyer on December 15, 2025. The latest transaction attracted a stamp duty of ₹26.40 lakh, along with registration charges of ₹30,000.
The property was originally acquired by Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Nene on June 4, 2012, for ₹1.94 crore. Over the years, the value of the apartment has increased significantly, reflecting the steady appreciation witnessed in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential neighbourhoods.
The latest sale is part of a series of property transactions undertaken by the couple in recent months. In December 2025, they sold another apartment in the same Juhu building for ₹3.90 crore. The 780.13 sq ft apartment had been purchased for ₹1.95 crore in 2012, resulting in an appreciation of nearly 99% over 13 years.
Earlier, in June 2026, Madhuri Dixit sold a commercial office space in Andheri West for ₹4.85 crore. The office, located in Morya Landmark-II Premises Co-operative Society Ltd in Oshiwara, had been purchased nearly 18 years earlier for ₹52.5 lakh, registering an appreciation of approximately 824%. The office measures 1,594.24 sq ft in carpet area and includes three car parking spaces.
Juhu continues to remain one of Mumbai’s most preferred luxury residential destinations, attracting celebrities, business leaders, film producers and directors. The locality’s proximity to major entertainment hubs such as Andheri, Bandra, Goregaon and Khar, along with its sea-facing properties and premium infrastructure, has consistently supported property values.
According to local real estate brokers, residential apartments in Juhu are currently priced between ₹60,000 and ₹1 lakh per sq ft, depending on the location, amenities and building profile. The appreciation recorded in Madhuri Dixit’s property transactions reflects the long-term value creation potential of premium real estate assets in established Mumbai neighbourhoods.
