K-Ride invites bids to build stations for BSRP

Giving yet another push for the work on the Bengaluru suburban rail project, the Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) on Friday invited e-tender bids for the design and building of 12 stations along the 'Mallige Line' (Corridor 2) of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP).

The Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) on Friday invited e-tender bids for the design and building of 12 stations along the ‘Mallige Line’ (Corridor 2) of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP).

Out of the 12 stations along Corridor 2, the K-Ride has planned two elevated stations at Chikkabanavara and Mathikere and two elevated interchange stations at Benniganahalli & Yeshwanthpur.

The rest of the stations will be ‘At-Grade stations’ at Kasturi Nagar, Seva Nagar, Banaswadi, Nagawara, Kanaka Nagar, Hebbal, Shettyhalli and Mydarahalli according to an official statement by K-Ride.

The tender work among others includes steel foot-over-bridge, roof structures, entry, and exit structures, and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) works for stations with all associated works for BSRP along with detailed design and engineering for Architectural finishes and E&M Works. However, the work excludes the construction of Architectural finishes and E&M Works. The last date for receiving bids would be 8 August 2023.
