The regular service of Vande Bharat Express train in Rajasthan will start on April 13 from Ajmer to Delhi Cantonment with stops at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurugram, said officials.
PM Narendra Modi will flag off state’s first Vande Bharat Express at 11am on April 12 via video conferencing, said officials from North Western Railway on Monday. The inaugural train will run between Jaipur and Delhi Cantonment.
“The new Vande Bharat Express will cover the distance between Delhi Cantt. and Ajmer in 5 hours 15 minutes. The new Vande Bharat Express will be faster by 60 minutes as compared to Shatabdi which runs on the same route,” said a statement released by NWR.
