The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the DDA Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026, a special housing scheme offering more than 1,200 ready-to-move flats in Narela at a 25% discount. The initiative is aimed at serving and retired government employees as well as working professionals, making home ownership more affordable while supporting planned urban development in the national capital.
According to DDA, the scheme includes 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK apartments available at reduced prices. After the discount, the starting prices are ₹33.40 lakh for 1 BHK, ₹75.55 lakh for 2 BHK, and ₹1.065 crore for 3 BHK. All apartments are offered on a freehold basis, providing buyers with complete ownership rights.
Registrations for the scheme will begin on July 24, 2026, while the booking process will open on August 15, 2026 through the DDA Awaas Portal. The flats will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging interested buyers to complete the registration process early.
The housing scheme has been announced ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations and is intended to improve access to quality housing for salaried professionals. DDA stated that the initiative reflects its commitment to increasing affordable housing opportunities and promoting inclusive urban growth across Delhi.
One of the major attractions of the project is its strategic location in Narela, an area witnessing significant infrastructure development. The residential complex is situated around 1.2 km from the upcoming metro station and 1.9 km from the proposed Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) station, improving future connectivity with other parts of Delhi-NCR.
The project also enjoys proximity to several planned social and recreational facilities. It is located approximately 2 km from the Narela Sports Complex, 5 km from the upcoming education hub, and 9.2 km from the proposed Integrated Sports Stadium. Road connectivity is equally strong, with the complex just 500 metres from Urban Extension Road-1 and about 1.1 km from GT Karnal Road.
With ready-to-move homes, discounted pricing, freehold ownership, and improving transport infrastructure, the DDA Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026 is expected to attract strong interest from government employees and homebuyers looking for affordable residential options in Delhi. The scheme also reinforces DDA’s efforts to encourage residential development in emerging locations such as Narela while expanding the availability of quality housing in the capital.
