Ceigall India emerges as L1-bidder for highway project granted by MPRDC

Ceigall Infra Projects, a fully-owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, has been recognized as the lowest bidder (L1) for a significant highway project granted by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC).

The tender, issued on 28 November 2025, pertains to the development of an access-controlled, greenfield four-lane highway with paved shoulders connecting Indore and Ujjain, covering a distance of 48.10 km.

The project commences at km 0.000 near Pitra Parvat and terminates at km 48.100 near Simhastha Bypass (km 2.600). It will be carried out under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM), which guarantees both the efficiency of public-private partnerships and the long-term performance of the asset.

With a bid amounting to Rs 1,089 crore, the contract stipulates a completion period of 24 months from the date of appointment. Upon its completion, the project is expected to greatly enhance connectivity, alleviate congestion on current routes, and improve regional mobility between Indore and Ujjain.
