Six architects and structural engineers face cancellation of registration, after BMC served them a notice for illegal building in identified unauthorized colonies against rules.
BMC commissioner served notice to the six engineers under Rule 28A(4) of Madhya Pradesh Land Rules 2012. Malpractice by the authorized architect and structural engineers was for eight building permits in Panchawati Colony, Pragati Nagar Panchwati Extension Singarcholi.
Three instances of malpractice were determined in Sharda Nagar Damkheda, one in Radha-Krishna Colony Chhola Road, one Shiv Shakti Nagar and two in Shraddha Satyasai Homes Bairagarh.
One development in Bhanpur Shiv Nagar and three in Karond Kala are also under the scanner. Other constructions that have been deemed illegal are at Suryoday Colony, Shraddha Satyasai Homes, Subhash Colony village Semrakala, Gulabi Nagar Cooperative Society, Pragati Nagar, Rohtas Nagar Khajurikala, Vishwakarma Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Paradise Planet Construction Cooperative Society, Bijli Nagar Colony Govindpura, Shiv Shakti Nagar, Surya Nagar Kotra Sultanabad, according to BMC.
