Aurum PropTech Ltd has announced the acquisition of Housing.com, the digital real estate marketplace owned by Australia’s REA Group, in an all-equity transaction valued at an enterprise value of ₹458 crore. The acquisition strengthens Aurum PropTech’s presence across the digital real estate value chain and expands its technology-led platform. The transaction is subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals and is expected to be completed before September 30, 2026.
The acquisition combines Housing.com’s property marketplace with Aurum PropTech’s portfolio of technology businesses to create an integrated platform spanning property discovery, transactions, financing, rentals, and property management. The company aims to offer developers, brokers, buyers, sellers, and tenants a connected digital experience throughout the real estate lifecycle.
Aurum PropTech plans to develop a unified AI and data architecture that will connect consumer demand, developer inventory, brokerage operations, rental services, and property transactions on a single platform. The company expects this integrated technology framework to improve property discovery, matching, pricing, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
The acquisition further strengthens Aurum PropTech’s position in India’s PropTech sector. The company already owns businesses including PropTiger, NestAway, HelloWorld, Sell.do, and Aurum Analytica, covering brokerage, rentals, sales automation, analytics, and digital transactions. Housing.com adds one of India’s leading online property marketplaces to this portfolio, expanding the company’s reach across multiple segments of the residential real estate market.
