EXCON 2021 commences from today in Bangalore

The 11th Edition of Excon is here. Every two years, the organisers have improved on the theme and have brought forth several innovations and encouraged exhibitors to come up with new technologies. This year too, the organisers, mainly the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organising South Asia’s largest construct. The exhibition will provide a platform for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to showcase new technologies apart from helping to reduce the disconnect between government and private players.

EXCON 2021 endeavours to build India’s infrastructure in an ecologically sustainable manner, enabling projects on Smart Cities, supporting Swachh Bharat programs, promoting skill development and positioning “Make in India” – as the National Agenda for achieving holistic growth in the infrastructure and related sectors.

AI Pavilion

In the construction industry, the use of technologies (AI, IoT, Big Data, ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Cloud computing, and so on) has risen dramatically to support initiatives such as smart cities, urban air mobility, and climate change programmes, as well as to generate new revenue streams, improve internal operating efficiencies and performance, identify costly mistakes, lower costs, reduce injuries, increase margins, and improve training, logistics, and customer relationship management. Against this backdrop, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosting an exceptional pavilion on AI, IoT & Automation during 11th edition of South Asia’s largest construction equipment & technology trade fair – EXCON 2022 from 17th – 21th March 2022 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru, India.

CII- WOMEN BUILDING INDIA – EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AWARDS

Through special initiatives launched at the EXCON 2022, titled “Women Building India”. One part of the initiative is the Women Building India- Equal Opportunity Awards.

The award looks at recognizing companies from the Infrastructure sector who have taken proactive steps to enable women to participate in the workforce. The award is designed for companies from the Infrastructure Sector (Construction, Construction Equipment, Power, Airports, Ports, Highways and Tolls) The Award has 4 Categories. Organizations can apply for any of the categories or all of them.

Excon addresses both marketing and educational platform for all stakeholders. Government and Senior Bureaucrats capitalised it as a knowledge platform for various departments (PWD’s and Civil Engineering Departments), private contractors, builders, road or infrastructure developers, smart city/ urban planning and Army Border Roads Organisation among others. Stakeholders get a platform to witness the latest Technology, Equipment’s and Machinery display which will enable accelerated infrastructure development needs of the nation.

Leading construction equipment manufacturers at the exhibition would demonstrate the versatility of machines, sophistication in construction technologies and more importantly showcase the cost effective solutions for builders and contractors for speedy implementation of projects with focus on quality, safety and environmental sustainability.
