The Building Construction Department of Bihar has issued an invitation for bids regarding the construction of various facilities on the grounds of the Government Engineering College located in Banka.
This initiative encompasses the establishment of a multi-sport indoor stadium, administrative and amenity buildings, a studio apartment designated for associate professors, a guest house, as well as hostels for both girls and boys.
This extensive construction endeavor, with an estimated cost of Rs 128.91 crore, is intended to improve the college’s infrastructure and offer contemporary amenities for students and faculty members. The project is part of Bihar’s continuous efforts to enhance educational and community facilities throughout the state.
Contractors are required to finalize the work within a period of 18 months from the commencement date of the project. The deadline for submitting bids is scheduled for 10 March 2026.
