UP RERA approves Rs 176.28-cr real estate projects across 6 cities

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has sanctioned six new real estate initiatives valued at Rs 176.28 crore in Ayodhya, Noida, Jhansi, Moradabad, Lucknow, and Prayagraj. These approvals were confirmed during the Authority’s 186th meeting, presided over by Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy.

Collectively, these projects will introduce 501 residential and commercial units, demonstrating an ongoing trend of development expansion into emerging urban areas beyond the primary metropolitan regions.

The recent approvals come after two notable rounds of clearances — on October 6, eight projects worth Rs 1,948 crore received approval, and on September 27, 21 projects amounting to Rs 7,035 crore were authorized.

These ongoing approvals are designed to enhance both residential and commercial infrastructure throughout the state.

The Chairman further highlighted UP RERA’s dedication to fostering transparency, accountability, and organized growth within the real estate sector, emphasizing that only projects meeting compliance standards are able to navigate the Authority’s rigorous approval process.
