Texmaco Rail & Engineering has secured a substantial order valued at Rs 187.28 crore (excluding taxes) from Southern Railway. This contract entails the implementation of interlocking systems at 183 non-interlocked gates.
The installation throughout the railway network will improve operational safety and efficiency, facilitating smooth and secure train operations, decreasing delays, and reducing the risk of accidents at previously non-interlocked gates. The work is expected to be completed within 18 months from the date of the letter of acceptance (LoA).
This contract contributes to Texmaco’s expanding portfolio of railway infrastructure projects, further solidifying its role as a significant player in the domestic market.
