Trichy corporation has announced special camps to resolve issues of double entry and errors in computerised taxation. The camps will be held on the second Saturday of the ensuing months, a release said.
Recently, the corporation council said some residents were repeatedly getting tax demand notices even after paying the pending property tax.
Property owners complained of abnormal billing for drinking water consumption.
Residents also raised queries over revised property tax since different properties with the same floor area and in the same locality were taxed differently.
The camps will be held across all five zonal corporation offices, including near TVS tollgate, Srirangam Gandhi Road, Allithurai Road and Palakkarai.
