Nestlé Business Solutions (NBS), the shared services arm of the Nestlé Group, has announced plans to establish a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. The facility will operate under Nestlé Business Services India and will be developed in collaboration with Genpact, strengthening the company’s global business services network.
The new centre is expected to support Nestlé’s operations across multiple international markets by providing advanced business services and digital capabilities. According to the company, the Hyderabad GCC will integrate expertise in business processes, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and digital operations to improve efficiency and support the company’s global functions.
The initiative reflects Nestlé’s continued investment in digital transformation and its strategy of expanding technology-driven service centres in key global locations. By leveraging AI, intelligent automation, and process intelligence, the GCC aims to enhance operational excellence while supporting the company’s evolving business requirements worldwide.
Nestlé stated that the facility will function as an important hub within its global business services ecosystem, enabling collaboration across geographies and helping deliver standardized, technology-enabled solutions to various business units.
Commenting on the development, Luca Fichera, head of Nestlé Business Solutions, said Hyderabad was chosen because of its strong technology ecosystem, world-class infrastructure, and growing reputation as one of India’s leading destinations for Global Capability Centres. The city has emerged as a preferred location for multinational companies due to its skilled talent pool, supportive business environment, and robust digital infrastructure.
The partnership with Genpact is expected to combine Nestlé’s global business expertise with Genpact’s experience in digital transformation, process optimization, and AI-led business operations. Together, the companies aim to build capabilities that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and innovation across Nestlé’s international operations.
India has become one of the world’s fastest-growing GCC destinations, attracting multinational corporations across sectors such as consumer goods, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology. Hyderabad, in particular, has witnessed significant growth in the establishment of global capability centres owing to its availability of highly skilled professionals, modern office infrastructure, and government support for technology investments.
