In response to the significant interest in the Anantnagar Housing Scheme located on Mohan Road during its initial two rounds, where nearly 700 plots were allocated, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is preparing to reopen registrations for the scheme this Diwali, with approximately 500 residential plots available.
This housing initiative is being constructed over an area of 785 acres along Mohan Road and is expected to house around 1.5 lakh residents. It is designed with a contemporary grid layout, incorporating wide roads, underground cabling, and other urban infrastructure that meets international standards.
Additionally, an Education City is planned within the development, covering roughly 100 acres. As per LDA officials, the land price will remain constant at ā¹41,150 per square metre. Applications will be processed online, and allotments will be conducted via a lottery system.
The sizes of the available plots include 450, 288, 200, 162, and 112.5 square metres. Furthermore, the state government has sanctioned ā¹750 crore for two new residential projects by the LDA ā Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar. The finance department has initiated the transfer of the approved funds to the LDA.
The Varun Vihar project will cover approximately 6,580 acres on Mohan Road, while Naimish Nagar will be developed on over 3,670 acres in Bakshi Ka Talab. Both projects will feature residential plots, flats, commercial areas, and landscaped green spaces.
