The highly awaited lottery for the Lucknow Development Authority’s (LDA) Anant Nagar Yojana housing scheme commenced on Tuesday. The draw initiated with the allocation of 112-square-metre plots for applicants in the general category.
The lottery for the initial phase, which includes 334 plots, was held at the Mercury Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. A total of 13,031 applicants registered online for this phase. The draw is set to proceed over the next four days.
Gyanendra Verma, the additional secretary of LDA, stated that the lottery is being conducted in the presence of applicants to ensure complete transparency. The entire procedure is also being live-streamed on YouTube.
He further mentioned that plots of various dimensions will be allocated through the lottery, including 121 plots of 112.5 sq m, 39 plots of 162 sq m, 50 plots of 200 sq m, 105 plots of 288 sq m, and 19 plots of 450 sq m.
