The five accused, including a woman, arrested in the RERA scam on Saturday were produced before the Kalyan sessions court which remanded them in police custody for two days.
The special investigation team (SIT) probing the case said, arrested accused Priyanka Ravrane (Mayekar), Pravin Tamhankar, Rahul Navsagare, Jaydeep Tribhuvan and Kailas Gawde, had prepared forged documents related to building permission on behalf of 65 developers in Kalyan-Dombivli.
The accused even through forged prepared building permission documents had managed to get RERA certificates on behalf of developers and using the same builder managed to sell their illegal flats in buildings.
The SIT on Saturday produced arrested five accused before the court demanding 10-day custody to further probe the accused to find the role of others.
