Fabex Steel Structures has officially opened a manufacturing facility worth Rs 120 crore in Chityal, as part of its strategy for business expansion. Spanning 40 acres, this plant boasts a production capacity of 50,000 tonnes, thereby raising the companyās overall capacity to 1,00,000 tonnes.
Fabexās initial plant located in Vijayawada caters to both domestic and export markets. The company intends to invest an additional Rs 100 crore over the next two to three years to enhance automation, diversify its product range, and improve manufacturing capabilities.
The new facility will concentrate on the production of pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) intended for industrial uses such as factories, warehouses, and logistics infrastructure. With ambitions to branch out into new sectors, Fabex aims to achieve Rs 1,000 crore in revenue within three years, an increase from Rs 463 crore in the fiscal year 2024-25.
Additionally, the company plans to double its workforce from 400 to 800 employees as it expands its operations.
