The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has issued a call for bids regarding the construction of the Bangalore Business Corridor (Peripheral Ring Road-1) under Package-1.

This Corridor, which extends from Tumkur Road to Bellary Road (km 0.00 to km 21.00), is valued at Rs 3,348 crore and will be executed under the design, build, operate, and transfer (DBOT) framework. The contract encompasses the construction of the road, as well as the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the infrastructure for a duration of 10 years.

The objective of this project is to improve connectivity and alleviate traffic congestion in Bangalore, establishing a significant link between major thoroughfares and business centers. The development of this business corridor is anticipated to be instrumental in the economic advancement of the city, facilitating easier access to essential commercial and industrial areas while reducing the traffic load on current routes. Bidders are required to submit their proposals by the deadline of 06 May, 2026.
