Bollywood actor Akshaye Vinod Khanna has purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Malabar Hill for ₹33.26 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards and reported by Hindustan Times.
The transaction was registered in September 2026. The apartment has a carpet area of 2,341.39 sq ft, along with an additional 175.45 sq ft of balcony space, taking the total area to 2,516.84 sq ft. The property also includes three parking units.
The transaction attracted a stamp duty of ₹1.99 crore, while the registration charges stood at ₹30,000, according to the registration documents accessed by Square Yards. Khanna could not be reached for comment on the purchase.

The apartment is located in Malabar Hill, one of South Mumbai’s established luxury residential markets. The neighbourhood is known for premium residences, limited availability of high-end homes and its location along the Arabian Sea.
The property’s total area, including the balcony, works out to more than 2,500 sq ft. With three parking spaces included, the apartment caters to the requirements associated with large luxury residences in the locality.
Malabar Hill has traditionally attracted high-net-worth individuals, business leaders and senior professionals due to its location and established residential character. The area is connected to other parts of South Mumbai through Nepean Sea Road, Walkeshwar Road and Pedder Road.

Akshaye Vinod Khanna, son of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, has worked across Hindi cinema for several decades. He has appeared in films including Hulchul, Race, Gandhi, My Father, Dil Chahta Hai and Drishyam.
More recently, Khanna appeared as Aurangzeb in Chhaava and as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar. Both films were among the commercially successful Hindi films mentioned in the Hindustan Times report.
