A B Infrabuild has received a contract following the issuance of a letter of acceptance (LoA) for construction and various works associated with the proposed 5th and 6th line project between CSMT and Kurla.
The contract encompasses the construction of new platforms (PF No 1 & 2) complete with covers, elevated foot over bridges (FOBs), skywalks, and the installation of escalators and lifts.
It also entails the dismantling of existing FOBs, booking offices, minor bridges, and other structures. Furthermore, the project includes public infrastructure at the Sion station, such as a 60x12m public FOB, a skywalk at CSMT, and additional works related to the proposed 5th and 6th line project.
The total contract value amounts to Rs 100.22 crore, with a completion timeframe of 18 months, aiming for delivery by May 2027.
