State govt will be able to accelerate development and capital spending as the Union govt on Monday released additional tax devolution of over Rs 530 crore. Apart from the regular release of the devolution amount for June 2024, one additional instalment is released.
“I thank the Union Govt under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for releasing the instalment of Tax devolution of Rs 539 crore for Goa,” chief minister Pramod Sawant said. “This will enhance govt of Goa’s ability to serve the people with infrastructure development as well as social welfare initiatives,” he added.
