The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has impacted all corners of the world. Businesses large and small are struggling to continue production while ensuring the well-being of their employees. Ammann is no different.

Hans-Christian Schneider, CEO of the Ammann Group, assures dealers and customers that the company will continue to deliver products and support its customers. We are and remain “open for business.”

“We are committed to the safety of all our employees,” Schneider said. “That commitment means that some manufacturing facilities might have reduced capacity or might be closed for a period of time following guidelines issued by local governments.”

Despite the slowdowns, Ammann remains on track to deliver parts and products on time. The company’s global manufacturing operations will provide flexibility so that when certain plants are idled, others can compensate by increasing production. The Ammann factory in Shanghai, China, is back in full operation after being closed for weeks in response to the pandemic.

“The global nature of our operation makes us optimistic that we will keep our ability to manufacture and deliver our products” Schneider said.

“As we navigate this ever-changing situation, we encourage our customers to stay safe and contact us with any questions or concerns they may have,” Schneider said. “And for our part, we will continue to deliver on our promise of ‘Productivity Partnership for a Lifetime`.”
