Uttar Pradesh housing board holds e-auction of 992 properties

On September 30, a significant e-auction was conducted by the UP Housing and Development Board, offering a total of 992 properties. Among these, there were 391 residential properties and 601 non-residential properties located in cities such as Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, and Kasganj.

The offerings included commercial and residential plots, institutional plots, group housing, and plots designated for IT cities. This auction is anticipated to yield approximately Rs 1,168.43 crore in revenue.

The registration process was made possible through a digital auction portal, which opened on September 18. According to a government spokesperson, “The expected revenue will be utilized by the board to initiate new housing projects, enhance infrastructure, and provide affordable housing options for citizens.

This auction establishes a new standard in the real estate sector of Uttar Pradesh and underscores the state’s dedication to economic development and self-sufficiency.”
