SSUTMS the leading University in Madhya Pradesh State, was accorded the honour of establishing First national CIDC Affiliated centre in a grand ceremony held at Sehore, Madhya Pradesh on 24th May 2025.
The centre was inaugurated by Dr.P. R. Swarup, Director General, CIDC along with Dr. Swaraj Puri, Chairman International Council of Consultants (ICC), M.P and former Director General Police (M.P)and Dr. Sunil Kapoor, Chairman RKDF University, in the presence of several Senior government officials, Academicians & Research Scientists, and students from all disciplines.
Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) has been established in the year 1996, by the Planning Commission, Govt of India (Now NITI Aayog) & several Central Ministries of GOI, CPSUs & leading corporate houses from Infrastructure sector, to work as the Apex organization.
It is noteworthy to mention that CIDC has accomplished several key Human Resource Development programs to create opportunities of employment for the youth of state.
In principle agreement to implement following path breaking initiatives was formalized:
- Students of SSSUTMS, would be offered Internship will go for internship opportunities with leading Industry organizations to learn the practical aspect of implementation of Projects.
- Grand Rojgar Mela to create employment opportunities, shall be organized on 19-20 Aug 2025 by many leading companies.
- B Voc Program for the field Engineers to be offered.
- B. Tech Program in trenchless technology to be initiated.
- Foreign collaboration with 10 International universities with joint efforts by CIDC and SSSUTM, would be organized to create a global employment opportunities for our youth.
- Selected University staff delegation to visit Tanzania with CIDC delegation.
- ICC awards on 5 Sep 2025 to be organized with SSSUTMS
- Industry park at university premises to be established
- Establishment of Pre cast component manufacturing unit in university premises within the Industry park 10. Accreditation of University laboratories.
CIDC & SSSUTMS have taken joint steps to spur a repaid growth of value added employment opportunities, for our youth in line with the National Education Policy 2024, which emphasizes effective implementation of Industry Academia Interactions.
