Shivraj lays foundation for 93 new developmental projects

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday performed bhoomi pujan and laid the foundation stone for 93 new development works costing over Rs 24 crore and dedicated to the public 25 development projects built at a cost of Rs 28.4 crore.

A new Janpad building and auditorium will be built in Begumganj.

New buildings of government girls HS schools of Begumganj and Bamhori will be sanctioned, and Rs 5 crore each will be given for development schemes in Begumganj, Gairatganj, Silwani and Raisen, said the CM.He was addressing people after inaugurating nearly Rs 100 crore Semri reservoir tap water supply scheme in Raisen. Over 76,000 people will benefit.

The CM laid the foundation stone of joint tehsil office building in Bari to be built at a cost of Rs 7.9 crore, construction of a bridge from Marethi to Semrakhas chainage at a cost of Rs 3.3 crore, construction of a bridge at Chunautiya block Silvani district Raisen at a cost of Rs 2.7 crore.

Other projects includee a tribal girls’ ashram, construction of a bridge on NH-12 at a cost of Rs 2.57 crore, an outdoor stadium construction in Begumganj district at a cost of Rs 1.4 crore and 88 other development works worth over Rs 6.2
