Offline submission for big projects measuring above 300 sq metre in Nashik

The decision to this effect was taken due to technical glitches in software and there had been demand from builders and architects to allow offline submission of building plans for at least the large projects.

Nashik municipal commissioner Ramesh Pawar has given permission for offline submission and approval of building plan proposals for the big residential and commercial projects coming up on plots measuring above 300 sq metre.

While the projects coming up on plots below 300 sq metre will have to submit building plan proposals online. The decision to this effect was taken due to technical glitches in software and there had been demand from builders and architects to allow offline submission of building plans for at least the large projects.

NMC had started online submission and approval of building plans from April 1. But very few building plans proposals were submitted online. Moreover, the revenue through various taxes of the town planning department was also affected due to this.

This offline facility for the big residential projects will be in effect till June 30.
