The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to initiate an affordable housing project on Sitapur Road, which will feature approximately 900 flats designated for Low Income Group (LIG) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) families.

This development will take place on a 16,000 square metre plot of land that has recently been cleared of encroachments, located in proximity to Shia PG College. The project will consist of 582 LIG flats and 336 EWS flats, organized within multistoried apartment towers.

The LIG category will offer 2BHK flats, each estimated to cost around Rs 35 lakh. Meanwhile, the EWS category will include 1BHK flats priced at approximately Rs 15 lakh. All towers will be interconnected, and the complex will feature eight passenger lifts along with three service lifts.

There are also plans for basement and stilt parking facilities that can accommodate over 600 vehicles. Furthermore, around 3,000 square metres will be allocated for green spaces. Prathamesh Kumar, the vice chairperson of LDA, stated that the tendering process for the construction is anticipated to commence shortly.
