Daresi police have booked three persons, including a realtor, for allegdly duping a city resident of Rs 3.34 crore on the pretext of selling him a three-storey building in Sundar Nagar.
The accused were identified as Jatinder Kumar Malhotra of Guru Nanak Dev Nagar; Raju Taneja, a realtor from near Ganda Nullah area and Naresh Wadhwa of dairy complex at Tajpur road.The case was lodged against the trio on the complaint of Jagjeet Singh of Amantran colony of Kailash Nagar.
The FIR was lodged following an inquiry which revealed that the accused were not the owners of the building and the ownership of the property was in the name of Chander Shekhar, who is accused Naresh’s father and has been missing for several years.
