Allottees of various schemes of Raipur Development Authority (RDA), who deposit their dues in lump sum by March 31, 2023, will be eligible to have 50% rebate in housing and 30% rebate in commercial projects.
The allottees in Market, Boriyakhurd, Hirapur, Raipura and Transport Nagar Ranwabhata have the maximum outstanding amount under the old schemes. RDA chief executive officer Dharmesh Kumar Sahu said that the amount of surcharge is continuously increasing due to non-payment of regular payments in many projects.
He said that the allottees in RDAs commercial project Bombay Market can save Rs 1.24 crore in surcharge amount by depositing it lump sum by March 31.
Similarly, in the Boriyakhurd scheme, the amount of surcharge is Rs 1 crore against an outstanding amount of Rs 10.56 crore, and in Hirapur, the surcharge amount is Rs 1.82 crore against an outstanding amount of Rs 3.66 crore.
In Raipura the surcharge amount is Rs 3.06 crore against an outstanding amount of Rs 5.95 crore outstanding amount.
