For the first time in India, a lecture series of webinars by international experts is being organised by the Indian National Group of the IABSE, based on the contents of the book titled ‘Bridge Deck Erection Equipment. In the last two years, in India and globally, there have been quite a few failures of bridge decks during construction and this series is most timely.
The webinar will cover all types and aspects of bridge erection equipment, encompassing the total technology involving the choice of type, analysis and design, operations in use, safety, economy and case studies. The international panel speakers of the webinar are all domain experts.
The series starts from 29th May and will continue till 3rd July. It will be covering 6 Saturdays with 3 ½ hr duration. Members of the bridge and structural engineering community, are invited to enroll for this unique series of webinars by experts on the subject and update themselves with the latest developments and enrich their knowledge.
