H.G. Infra Engineering wins ₹3,931 crore Maharashtra highway contract

H.G. Infra Engineering has announced that it has received a letter of award from Welspun Enterprises Limited for a highway construction project in Maharashtra, which is valued at ₹3,931.11 crore, excluding taxes.

This project entails the construction of a 6-lane, partially elevated highway corridor and the enhancement of an existing segment between Pune and Shirur on NH-753F. According to a stock exchange filing made by the company on Sunday, the minimum design length of the corridor is 53.40 km.

The contract has been awarded under the item rate mode and is expected to be completed within 36 months. Last month, H.G. Infra Engineering Limited reported that it had secured an order worth ₹519.33 crore from Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited for railway infrastructure development projects in Uttar Pradesh.

The company stated that the order, which was received on April 13, 2026, encompasses civil works, including earthwork, bridges, station buildings, and P-way works, for a 2×800 MW thermal power project in Mirzapur. As of 2:28 pm on Tuesday, shares of H.G. Infra Engineering Limited were trading at ₹640 each, reflecting an increase of 1.63 percent from the previous close.
