Those in the market for homes will soon be able to see all project-related documents on a special app, which is being developed by CREDAI Ahmedabad and the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
The developers’ association says the app will increase transparency for home buyers and developers will also benefit.
A senior AMC officer said discussions are underway with CREDAI to develop an app for developers and the public.
CREDAI Ahmedabad president Tejas Joshi said, “This is a big technological advance for developers and home buyers, and we expect to sign an agreement with the AMC soon.
This app will help speed up the plan passing process, which takes about three months currently. It will also increase transparency.
Certain features will be chargeable for people, but it will help them in decisions.” He said the app will have features different to RERA, which also provides details about projects.
