Shree Cement commissions first ready-mix concrete plant in Hyderabad

Shree Cement had acquired five operational plants of StarCrete LLP in Mumbai earlier this month for a consideration of Rs 33.5 crore. Its combined RMC capacity now stands at 512 cubic meters per hour.

Shree Cement has launched Bangur Concrete with the commissioning of its first ready-mix concrete (RMC) plant in Hyderabad. The plant has a capacity of 90 cubic meters per hour.

Neeraj Akhoury, managing director of the company said, “We recognise the vast potential of RMC business. We’re committed to aggressively expand our presence in this market by building new units as well as acquiring plants.”

The company had acquired five operational plants of StarCrete LLP in Mumbai earlier this month for a consideration of Rs 33.5 crore. Its combined RMC capacity now stands at 512 cubic meters per hour.
