Orient Cement has reported a growth of 1.22 per cent in its net profit during the quarter ended March 31, 2024. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 68.19 crore in Q4 FY24 as against Rs 67.37 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company’s net total income stood at Rs 895.53 crore in Q4 FY24, a growth of 1.66 per cent from Rs 880.88 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
The board of directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.50 (150%) per equity share of Re 1 each for the year ended March 31, 2024. Further, the company had declared an interim dividend of Rs 0.75 (75%) per equity share during the previous quarter of the financial year 2023-24, totalling the dividend amount to Rs 2.25 (225%) per equity share of Re 1 each for the financial year 2023-24.
