The Lucknow Development Authority on Wednesday hiked the land rate up to 50% for the trans-Gomti area .
The decision was taken by a committee, comprising financial controller, Nazul officer and joint secretary.
The committee recommended the hike to LDA vice-chairperson Abhishek Prakash.
The rate for Gomtinagar Extension has been fixed at Rs 28,000 per sq metre. Earlier, it was Rs 18,500.
Jankipuram Extension’s rate is Rs 22,000 per sq metre against Rs 15,000 earlier and Sector-J, Jankipuram Rs 24,000 per sq metre against Rs 16,000 per sq metre earlier.
