DDA to open flat registrations for 48-storey high rise residential project

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has commenced the registration process for flats in its 48-storey residential project, “DDA Towering Heights”, which is currently under construction at Karkardooma, as announced by officials on Friday.

The registration period will be available from October 31 to November 21, according to their statement. In the initial phase, the agency is offering 1,026 premium two-bedroom-hall-kitchen (BHK) apartments, with base reserve prices ranging from Rs 1.78 crore to Rs 3.09 crore. The area of the flats varies between 142 sqm and 250 sqm.

“Spanning 30 hectares, the East Delhi Hub is being developed as a world-class mixed-use urban center that integrates residential, commercial, and civic spaces within a lively, walkable environment,” the DDA stated.

It further noted that this will be the tallest building in the national capital to date, featuring 48 storeys that reach a height of 155 metres. Strategically positioned next to the Karkardooma Interchange Metro Station, the project provides direct access to both the Blue and Pink Lines, facilitating smooth travel throughout the city, as mentioned.

Officials indicated that the project also boasts road connectivity via NH-9, NH-24, and other major routes linking Central, East, and South Delhi, in addition to its proximity to Anand Vihar Railway Station and ISBT. “Developed as the inaugural project under the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) initiative, the flats are nearing completion and are expected to be handed over by July 2026,” the statement concluded.

At the time of auction, successful bidders will be required to pay 75 per cent of the flat cost upfront, with the remaining 25 per cent due by July 2026, when possession is anticipated.
